My porch flooded on Thursday night. Luckily by the time I saw it the water had drained off. It looked like someone had ransacked my porch. My big wheeled trash can had floated off and tipped over. My heavy rubber welcome mat had also floated off, and ended up covering the drain. Luckily no water came inside.
My neighbors didn't have it so lucky. Armand's basement had 12" of water and Greg's basement had 5". My next door neighbors were bailing water off their porch at 9 pm.
Falls Church needs more boats.
