Go yellowjackets!

Saturday's GA Tech game against UNC was a blast, despite pouring rain in the 4th quarter! Even though the Wolfpack wasn't there that day, I pulled for them anyway (whenever UNC had the ball). Go yellowjackets!

Happy birthday, Leah!

Last night I was lucky enough to help Leah celebrate her birthday. Her parents, her sisters, Leah and I went out to eat at the Beach Shack (mmm) and then back to Leah's house for cake and ice cream.

During dinner Leah pointed out that we had been to the Beach Shack with my parents (last fall), with her parents (last night), but not with her husband's parents yet. (We may have to work on that). Coincidentally, we sat at the same table last night that we did when we went there with my parents. We'll call it the Parents Table.

Yesterday I had a fun ride with Mary, Rhonda, and Laura, Mary's sister who was visiting from Atlanta. We rode to the Poole's Store for a picnic with the horses, then rode home.

Champagne

Until yesterday I was a champagne snob (even though I generally know very little about wine).

After yesterday I know that the very best champagne from France doesn't compare to a lesser bottle (or 2) shared in the hot tub and pool with good friends.
