My friend Angela has the cutest puppy, Jeb. She came home from work one day last week to find that Jeb had moved this chair to the middle of the living room and then had a little snack.

Matt and Lisa

This weekend I got to catch up with Matt and Lisa, who were in town from Atlanta for a wedding. It was great to see them - we always have fun!

After several crank calls from South America and some annoying spam text messages, I'm changing my phone number.

Finally!

Great news! I finally have a date when work will begin on waterproofing my condo. I move out on 11/5. I'll be in a hotel for at least 3 weeks, which could mean Thanksgiving in a hotel. :-(

Bagels

If you have a Panera nearby and you haven't yet tried the pink ribbon bagels, I highly recommend them. They're only available during October. They're a little sweet, with vanilla and cherries in them. Absolutely great with hazelnut cream cheese!

Trail ride

Today my friend Leah and I rode the towpath on the C&O Canal. Leah rode Kidd (on the left) and I rode Duke. Great weather. Lots of sun and blue skies. The trails were packed - lots of bikers and a few hikers.
